Evil & Menace of Bengal....Challenge & Break them all.

Thursday, June 9, 2011 0
Do you know what is the sign of an evil ? Its the hammer & sickle and it really made the people of Bengal sick for the last 34 years. You will be also surprised to know that Bengal & especially Alimuddin Street is the only place where the map of disintegrated soviet union is still worshipped. Let them worship , I don't care because finally the communist party of India is out of power in Bengal. Thanks to Ms Banerjee who has made it possible and its time for her to rectify the long years of blunder. It is also time for her to rectify the mistake which she had made in Singur. But it is minor compared to the 34 years of devastation. Bengal once the root for resurgence and bed of freedom stuggle & cultural renaissance lost its glory under the domination of red. Now most of the people don't talk of a major issue which has destroyed our originality and that is large scale migration of people from Bihar & Rajasthan for the sole purpose of exploiting our land. Now we Bengalis are only proud and only talk but no one dares to talk of this actual situation or act. It makes me furious because nowadays Hindi has overtaken Bengali language in Bengal . This all happened due to the appeasement policies of the earstwhile communist regime towards the hindi community ,Lack of innitiative and proactiveness of the Bengalis & Lack of motivation given to the fellow people of the land. Now let us see what is on the agenda of the new government.

The following things only can bring back our lost glory and this must be included in the political agenda of the new government ( Stop appeassing for getting votes & Start working for the real betterment of Bengal):
  1. Maximum Job for the Bengalis first.
  2. Stop illegal migration of outsiders.
  3. Environment for Perfect competition.
  4. Stop anything which has a tone of RED (Communism )
  5. Development in Infrastucture.
  6. Improvement in quality of education & health.
  7. Opening of the closed factories & creating brands & new opportunities
  8. Bengali as the primary language of Bengal.
  9. Destruction of Hindi Influence in Bengal so that they follow the law of our land
  10. Motivation and opportunity to be given to the Bengalis for Self -Employment.

Back on Business......

Its been a long time since I left posting. Many things came & gone and finally I realized that I have wasted so much information I gathered. But it was not intentional. The past 2 years was crucial , hectic and full of struggle. During my last post I was an employee working under some irate manager, but it was really a stuggle challenging the situation. But I think that I have won the battle and now I am working for myself and running my own enterprise. All well that ends well and I am back of business.......

Indians and the world war

Sunday, April 5, 2009 1
I am sure that many people will not be able to make a connection between the two words"INDIANS" & "WORLD WAR". But it is a major chapter in the modern history of India which we always overlook as In India the syllabus of history doesn't focus on this chapter. Thanks to the educational system in India. Though India is said to be a free country but I feel that the past colonial mindset still exists. Besides, the Indians are also interested to fight for their rights and instead they feel proud if someone portrays India as "SLUM DOG". We create a hype and get delighted if some foreigner portrays the negative picture of India(but in an diplomatic way). I think we are suffering from identity crisis. But when any movie on world war is made , they confidently exclude the role of Indians and the larger audience can't get to know these facts. Have you seen any English movie where they have portrayed the Indians fighting with the Allied troops during the world war?? I am sure you haven't. But its a facts that thousands of brave Indian soldier's have sacrificed their lives in various battles during the world war. Infact no one knows the fact that the Indian soldiers created heavy resistance during the battle of Monte Casino. There were many brave leaders who assisted the British troops selflessly in suppressing the German resistance. The photographs above are taken during world War 1 where the photograph on the left is of the Garwali troops (France,WW1) and the next is that of Subedar Khan who won the Victoria cross during world war 1, Britain's highest medal of valour. But it is very sad that we are openly disrespecting these great heroes. I think the main problem with India is that we appease the other nations too much and its high time to know who we are and how powerful we are.

Grow up Kolkata

Wednesday, March 25, 2009 1

Thanks to the political parties of Kolkata to make its condition even worse. Though in pen and paper everything seems to be all right but as a resident of Kolkata I can feel and see the real scenario. I think its an inevitable side effect of every communist country or region to make the people believe in shortcuts and kolkata is no exception. Moreover the local government is adding up fuel by allowing and promoting the lottery systems instead of motivating them to work or providing the infrastructure to work. In my locality in the last 14 days 2 men committed suicide just because of this habit of buying lottery. Instead of doing something to improve his condition he kept on buying those tickets in the hope that he will get rich. But now see the condition of his family. It is even tough to find a job over here and thanks to MAMTA BANERJEE for her unwanted role in the SINGUR incident which shattered the positive hopes of many. There are loads of recruitment consultancies but surprisingly the jobs offered by them are mostly from private insurance companies. This is because there is hardly any new venture happening here. An MBA over here is under rated and a graduate is happy with his/her RS 5000 job. Times have changed and over the last 30 years the government has taken responsible steps to ruin the economy and culture of the city. Though even today Kolkata is regarded as a hub of culture but sorry to say, making remixes of Rabinrasangeet or just carry a guitar or hanging around tea shops (CHAER DOKAN) is not “culture” to me. The situation is getting even worse when the illiterate opposition is trying its best to destroy the initiative taken by the government, but the people of this place knowing everthing, sitting idle and accepting the injustice boldly. I must say that the people of kolkata are very bold at least they can overlook everything very boldly and confidently. Nothing much to say about the young generation over here. They don’t want to know about the problems, they just know how to escape them, afterall they are busy copying the west and spent most of their time in composing songs which will do good to none, or growing their hairs or finding a girl to ruin her life. Its high time guys. This is the actual condition of Kolkata.Grow up and make her glorious as before…Instead of Music bands or lottery coups, we need entrepreneurs, and we need a leader.

Overlooked factor of the Indian Economy

Monday, February 2, 2009 0

Though the Indian economy is growing fast yet many things or factors are remaining unexplored and often overlooked. Recruitment is such a vital factor. If we do a quantitative analysis of the Indian recruitment business market then we will see that the business is quite profitable and competitive. Almost every week a company or the other is rising up here and there. But if we look deep into the real story, then we will find out that the basic system is faulty. Perhaps it is a major factor behind this brain drain. Ultimately we are losing our resources in hands of the western brain and money. All this is happening because all the firms are busy sending our country made resources to the foreign land and ultimately our performance in the economic arena is getting hampered. But just imagine if they try something different say the exact opposite of what they are doing today. I thing change management must be implemented everywhere. I think that if the recruitment firms also start promoting our rising quality and skilled Job requirement to the western countries then it will be profitable and act as a positive factor in protecting the business from stagnation. This is because the present recession hit the western countries in a much higher way than in India. Majors like Citi group and RBS made history and as a result it will be potential opportunity for the Recruitment firms to attract that Western workforce towards the Indian job market. It will be beneficial for the Indian economy also as today’s machines need expert skilled knowledge to operate or to maintain and the western workforce have a much higher practical technical knowledge than us as we focus more on theory.

The major loophole in the Indian recruitment industry is their own selection of employees. Most of the recruitment consultants don’t know the difference between sales and marketing .and every time you find for a marketing job they will offer you a sales job. In India getting a call from a placement agency with job offer in Insurance companies is normal but you will seldom get an offer from any leading advertising agency, PR firm or any media company. This is because they actually do not understand advertising and hence their own advertising is nil. The only expertise they have is the use of popular job portals, calling the wrong person for the wrong job and sometimes misguiding the job seekers.

Indian Non Banking Financial Organizations: The actual story revealed.

Friday, January 23, 2009 0
Now a days the Indian financial market is overcrowded with private Non Banking Financial Organizations, but if you ask any of them about their position in the market they will tell you that “we are no 1 and running in profit”. But is it really possible? I think you will get the answer if you look at the employee turnover rates of the company. But if still they are making profits then you can easily guess how they are managing it and ultimately how it is affecting everyone.

I have worked for several years with many of such organizations and observed that there are few basic flaws in their operations but they are not ready to rectify them. In India most of such NBFCs have a target oriented approach. Setting targets for profits is good but their target setting mechanism is absolutely unscientific. They set monthly targets for their employees and this is done randomly, not on the basis of capability. Now if a person from a ordinary family background joins such a company and his colleague is from a rich family and both their monthly target is same, then obviously the second one will be able to get more cases and business for the company using his family sources and will get promoted easily. But the ordinary one will finally get sacked. This is happening everyday but the companies don’t even think that this way many people are becoming jobless and help less. They actually don’t care. A good company always first take care of the internal customers and then the external customers. But in India the situation is completely different. The internal customers are exploited to the maximum, the external ones are ignored and harassed and the company in between makes the profit. Now if we talk of the HR or the authority which monitors everything, we will actually get frustrated as they do nothing. I have noticed that the perception about HR is mere recruiting authority and they actually take care of the recruiting and salary part only. But the actual job of HR or domain of work should be much larger. The HR is actually a bridge between the company and the employees. But in India the Hr is just a bridge which connects itself to the company and no one is allowed to use the bridge. It happened with me 1 year back when I was going to put a resignation letter to the HR due to change of job. I have not yet got the salary clearance. Do you want to know the name of the company?? We will be shocked to know that such a big company can do such a cheap thing…My ethics doesn’t permit me to openly disclose the name, but just to provide you an idea I’ll tell you that the company has its branch in Gariahat,Kolkata, New Delhi, Ambadeep Building.

Besides I have also seen how they are doing their force selling practices and if a person doesn’t need any investment or insurance they will not spare him as if he/she has committed a crime. But ideally they must create a ground for educating the masses first as I feel that in India around 20% is properly insured and the rest 80% is untouched.Regarding investments and insurance there is widespread ignorance and the financial institutions must first focus on educating them through various activities rather than directly forcing them to buy their product. A “rickshawalla” of Calcutta also needs an Insurance but if we tell them to invest a certain amount he will never understand. Moreover the insurance companies do not have any option for the poor classes as they can’t give high premiums. The companies are smart enough to approach the rich people as they will fetch higher premium hence higher revenue/profit. Now I think it will be an eye opener for all of us as I have shared the actual story. It is just to show you that its your money and how they are running into profit using the money of the masses. So next time you are going to invest in any such company, think twice as how they actually operate.

The purpose of "INSIDE STORY".

Tuesday, January 20, 2009 0

As this is my first post, I have decided not to write anything serious but will explain a little about my blog, myself and my purpose of starting this blog. Its not that I am new to blogging but the blog I maintain is for official purpose as presently I am into the online marketing profession. But the main reason for starting this blog is just to pen down the various ideas which comes to my mind everyday, the things I have experienced and the things which I observe everyday. I feel that people’s mind is like a datacenter where millions of ideas and thoughts get stored everyday, but most of the time we forget those due to lack of organization. But every idea is important and if jotted down in an organized manner then someday or the other it may benefit someone. Thus this blog will contain all such ideas, experiences which may be related to any field like finance, job, investment guidance, fashion, history etc whichever comes to my mind. My purpose will be to include information on job market and current job openings in India, investment planning, information on major stores and products and many more. I just want to assimilate all type of information under a common platform and wish me luck to accomplish my mission…
